Perform advanced chemical analyses using ICP and other techniques in accordance with prescribed methods and SOPs.
Conduct specialised sample preparation and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely sample flow and efficient instrument use.
Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced analytical instrumentation (including ICP), and liaise with service providers when necessary.
Ensure quality control of analytical results by verifying against standards, conducting corrective actions, and preparing data for review.
Support ISO 17025 compliance through participation in root cause analysis, investigation of non-conformances (NCRs), method validation, and maintaining technical signatory standards.
Requirements
National Senior Certificate (Matric)
National Higher Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or a B.Sc. Degree in Natural Sciences
At least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience using ICP or similar advanced analytical instrumentation and techniques.
