Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- A Senior Certificate/Matric.
- At least one (1) year’s relevant experience in laboratory work
- Competence in English and/or Afrikaans
- Competence in the use of technology
Recommendations:
- A relevant Teaching Qualification (Sciences)
- Exposure to academic teaching methodology in higher education
Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities
- Assist with laying out of class material, setting up of equipment and any other general preparations for classes/instructions.
- Store keeping.
- Issuing of equipment
- Cleaning of equipment
- Technological support
- General minor maintenance
- General administration
- Ad hoc functions as requested by the HOD
