    Laboratory Graduate

    The Revlon Supply Chain Graduate 12-month rotational development program. 

    Provide a Comprehensive introduction to working within a robust Global Supply Chain environment. 

    Develop functional and cross functional capability collaborative interaction. 

    Exposure to multiple functions to develop capacity in a key operational function. 

    Areas of Programme:

    • Complete sampling, analysis and approval of all incoming bulks and raw materials to ensure timely release for production, namely: Carry out chemical analysis of all incoming raw materials, to ensure timeous release for production.
    • Ensure bulks manufactured and imported are tested accurately and thoroughly, and bulk approvals are given to production timeously.
    • Carry out Microbial testing of incoming raw materials, packaging, bulks, finished goods, water and environmental testing of the facility.
    • Ensuring that formulations comply with criteria set in the manufacturing documents and giving clearance to fill batches
    • Ensuring GMP compliance in the laboratory and production environment.
    • Complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
    • Controlling deviations according to SOP’s.
    • Administration of relevant paperwork including maintenance and organizing of logs & records.
    • Ensuring that laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.
    • Routine testing and data capturing.
    • Maintaining registers and manufacturing related paperwork.
    • Maintaining Quality Control standards in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.
    • General: Assist with any trial batches; assists in general technical areas as required by Superior.

    Education & Experience:

    • Qualified in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering - 3 year Degree or equivalent qualification. For EHS- Environmental, Health & safety related qualification. 
    • Grade 12 with Math’s (HG) and Physical Science 
    • Degree (above 65% pass rate) 
    • Post graduate qualification in will be advantage.
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and instructions which forms part of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) management system of the company

    Skills:

    • Computer literate i.e. All MS Office packages including MS Projects
    • Experience in operating set laboratory equipment, i.e. IR, HPLC, ICP, etc.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Applicant must be a self-starter, and must be action oriented and target driven
    • Ability to work independently and be a good team player
    • Ability to problem solves and thinks analytically Problem solving skills and facilitating problem-solving / project planning sessions.
    • Good team player with the ability to work under pressure.
    • The ability to adapt to change quickly
    • Ability to prioritize and maintain work performance under pressure
    • Good time management, organizational and writing skills
