Laboratory Technician

- Qualification Bachelors
- Experience 1 year
- Location Western Cape
- City Cape Town
- Job Field Science
Job Specification:
Key Performance Areas:
- Microbiological sample analysis
- Maintenance of documentation (ISO 17025)
- Internal client liaison for I&J
- Validations
- Media quality and Environmental control
- Maintenance
- Assist and adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
- Responsible for general house-keeping the laboratory
Minimum Requirements:

Experience:
- Completed Degree with minimum 1 years’ experience in a Microbiology laboratory or an Honours Degree
- Completed Honours Degree advantageous
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Microbiology or Medical Microbiology – BSc / BTech or Food Science
Additional requirements:
- Exposure to ISO 17025
