Laundry Manager at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts

Introduction:

The Laundry Manager forms part of the Rooms Management Team and manages staff and assures that all Rooms and F&B linen, Guest clothing and Employee uniforms are cleaned timely and cost-efficiently. The Laundry Manager oversees all aspects of the laundry/valet department including interviewing and training of staff, developing daily production schedules, coordinating linen, uniform and supplies inventories. The Laundry Manager monitors and controls all expenses and maintenance costs and assures that financial goals are being met.
The position reports to the Director of Housekeeping as well as Director of Rooms and Residences

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Previous Resort Laundry Management experience is a must
• Proficient in English communication
• Strong knowledge of managing a laundry department
• 3 to 5 years experience in a hotel related environment
• Hospitality education is preferable, however, not essential if applicants have previous relevant work experience.
• Pleasant interpersonal, managerial, communication and leadership skills
