Lead Consulting: Norms and Standards at SITA SOC (Ltd)

Purpose of the job

• To plan, facilitate, develop, adopt and propose the set of Technical Infrastructure Standard that guides the development, integration, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of technical solutions and technologies

Key Responsibility Areas

• Support Norms, Standards and Quality department in developing and implementing strategies and roadmaps( from Norms and Standards perspective) to ensure a comprehensive and integrated Government Standard and solution function.
• Practice in the development, implementation and evaluation of governance mechanisms for Norms and Standard and Quality and monitor the adherences thereto as to deliver quality product in a controlled environment.
• Practice in the development and implementation of architectural mechanisms for government wide standard to improve interoperability of government system.
• Technically manage, Government Standards, Development facilitation and popularisation delivery comments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a development and implementation methodology ( framework, policies, process procedures etc. for Norms and Standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: Degree /National Diploma in ICT related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or equivalent.
• Certification: Certification in Information Security Professional (CISSP), COBIT, TOGAF will be an added advantage
• Experience: 7 Years Plus experience in development or adoption of ICT Standards; and 5 Years Plus experience in implementation of ICT Standards; and 5 Years Plus experience in Data Management/Analysis; and 7 Years Plus experience in integration across multiple hardware and software platforms; and 7 Years Plus experience in Project Management and the execution of multiple projects; and 7 Years Plus experience in Business Processes Development and Implementation.

• Technology and Data Architecture Solutions Development, Deployment, Maintenance and Support ICT standards development, adoption and deployment System integration Knowledge of government policies, procedures and regulations Governance Processes and Standards (COBIT. ITIL).
