Lead Developer at AES Africa

We are working with a leading South African insurance company, who seek to employ a Lead Developer to join their team in Parktown, Johannesburg. This is a lead opportunity where you will be given reins to coach and manage a team of well versed developers, while delivering in a full stack development capacity.

As a Lead Developer, your main responsibilities will be full stack development and team management throughout the group

Duties include:

• Architecting scalable, maintainable and performant technology solutions across
• Delivering full stack website and mobile application f
• Manage / mentor / oversee developers
• Stay abreast with developments in the technology community
• Contribute to improving the platform as a whole
• Be familiar with a tech stack that includes: HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, React, GIT, NodeJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, Swift and AWS

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification
• 7+ years’ experience in full stack development
• 2+ years team lead experience
