Learning and Development Officer at Hire Resolve

Description:

• Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Learning and Development Officer to join their mining company based in North-West. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing learning and development initiatives, training programmes and skills development interventions while ensuring effective administration, reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement learning and development programmes in line with training requirements and workplace skills plans.
• Coordinate training-related reporting, learnerships, internships, bursaries and study assistance.
• Coordinate Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for identified employees.
• Facilitate induction programmes using appropriate training materials and media.
• Conduct competency assessments and support effective transfer of skills and knowledge.
• Maintain and audit learning and development records in accordance with relevant requirements.
• Engage with suppliers, consultants, clients and other stakeholders regarding training requirements and services.
• Develop and communicate learning and development projects and initiatives.
• Ensure learning and development activities comply with internal policies, governance frameworks and approval processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external training or academic institutions.
• Monitor and report on learning and development metrics and expenditure.
• Prepare learning and development recommendations and reports for management.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• National Diploma in HR Management or related
• Assessor Certificate
• Train the Trainer Certificate
• ODETDP Level 5 National Certificate
• Minimum 3 years' experience in an underground mining environment
• Experience as a Skills Development Facilitator and Moderator
• Valid Driver's License
