    Learning & Development Manager (Cape Town or Johannesburg)

    Purpose of the role
    Develop and deploy the omnichannel learning and development framework and strategy aligned to PMI’s smoke-free vision. This position is essential in building commercial capabilities to enable market achievement of strategic priorities.

    Key responsibilities
    Learning and Development

    • In collaboration with P&C business partners and the global Consumer-Centric Capability team, develop and deploy the omnichannel Learning and Development framework and strategy
    • Ensure that the Learning and Development Framework and strategy meets the needs of all the commercial teams by collaborating with all Heads of Functions and Senior Managers / People Managers
    • Align Learning & Development (L&D) interventions with performance reviews with Training Needs Analysis
    • Customise and implement PMI training programmes for the market
    • Facilitate internal training programs and platforms for the market
    • Manage the learning and development budget
    • Consult with business partners to facilitate the learning and development interventions within various functions
    • Design, develop and implement change management programmes for new commercial Initiatives
    • Develop and deploy the digital learning strategy with the support of the global capability building team
    • Participate in cross-functional projects and provide feedback to key-stakeholders
    • Maintain all training records
    • In collaboration with MOD, prepare and submit Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report for SETA submission

    Employee Wellness

    • Support the development and implementation of pulse survey action plans for commercial functions in collaboration with P&C business partners

    What we are looking for

    • B. Comm/ BA - Industrial Psychology, BA Psychology or Human Resources, B.Comm General, B.Soc Sciences or similar
    • Other courses in Coaching, Psychology, and Human Recourses will be considered
    • Coaching and Facilitation skills
    • Analytical thinking


    • Assessor and/ or Moderator accreditation
    • Understanding SETA requirements
    • Passion for people and their development
