A Doctoral degree in Agricultural Extension or in the final year of their Doctorate.
Teaching experience at a tertiary institution.
Research experience supported by either a publication record in DHET-accredited journals, successful post-graduate supervision or evidence of attracting research funding.

Duties:
Teach undergraduate and Honours courses in Agricultural Extension and any other courses assigned to you by the Head of Department.
Participate in regular recurriculation of modules or programme reviews.
Develop research within the area of Agricultural Extension and rural/agricultural development.
Attract research funding.
Supervise Honours, Master’s, and Doctoral students.
Participate in community engagement.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
The successful candidate will be required to register for a Postgraduate diploma in Higher Education.
