CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

• To facilitate and administer the learning process for students in modules presented at undergraduate and postgraduate level. To do research and contribute to community engagement in line with the core functions and values of the university.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• To facilitate the learning and teaching processes and outcomes of the department.
• To conduct research.
• To perform administration.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Sound knowledge in the theory and application of Financial Planning principles.
• Some experience at facilitating learning and teaching at undergraduate level.
• Potential to facilitate learning at postgraduate level.
• Potential to contribute to the creation of knowledge by virtue of publications and the supervising of postgraduate research studies.

 
REQUIREMENTS
 

• In order to be considered for appointment to this post, the potential candidate must have a relevant Master’s degree with a minimum lecturing experience of two years within the field of Financial Planning (Principles of Retirement Planning, Principles of Estate Planning, Corporate Financial Planning, Investment Management, Risk Management). Relevant professional registration serves as a strong recommendation.
