Lecturer (3 Positions)

Minimum Requirements:

• A completed Master’s degree or Doctorate Degree and an undergraduate study in the field of Financial Accounting and related fields.

• At least 3 years of university teaching experience.

• Ability to lecture Financial Accounting and related fields.

Additional Requirements:

• A Chartered Accountancy qualification will be an added advantage.

Summary of Duties

• Make major contributions to the academic quality by providing leadership in all aspects of offerings associated with Accounting in the Department.

• Take responsibility for the teaching, learning and assessing of offerings in the Department.

• Lead, develop, design and review all learning content associated with Accounting.

• Contribute to the research environment by helping and supporting colleagues with the supervision of post graduate students.

• Engage in community/External Engagement Services including playing an active role in the functioning of Professional and subject related associations.

• Undertake administration and other academic duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Salary:

Lecturer: R359 820 (min) – R648 228 (max) per annum, plus benefits
