Lecturer in Civil Engineering (JB3289) at Educor Holdings

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lecturer in Civil Engineering to join our team based on campus in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a Lecturer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and fostering academic growth among our students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering to lecture N4-N6
• National Diploma in Civil Engineering to lecture N1-N3
• Proficiency in Engineering Drawing would be an advantage
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching/lecturing experience
• Previous experience delivering lectures both on-campus and online, preferably with hybrid (semi-remote/online) students

Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging lectures in Civil Engineering for NATED Civil Engineering courses
• Teach subjects for N4-N6, including Building and Structural Construction, Mathematics, and Building Administration
• Teach subjects for N1-N3, including Industrial Orientation, Building Science, and Engineering Drawing
• Perform administrative tasks related to courses and attend departmental meetings as required
• Develop and enhance academic content, including researching and creating new topics and teaching materials, including online resources
• Participate in examination certification and promotion processes for learners
• Provide face-to-face lectures and conduct contact sessions with distance students
• Maintain accurate student records and actively monitor academic progress
• Assist with general academic administration tasks
• Provide student support during contact sessions with distance learners
