Lecturer in Financial Management at Stellenbosch University

Duties

• Teaching undergraduate modules in financial management;
• Supervision of postgraduate students at honours level;
• Participating in Departmental, Faculty and University activities;
• Self-initiated research towards the completion of a PhD.

Job Requirements    

• A master's degree in financial management or a related field;
• Sufficient subject knowledge to be able to teach the following financial management topics: financial statement analysis, valuation, financial planning and control, capital budgeting, mergers and acquisitions, behavioral finance, business ethics and financial management research;
• The ability to teach in English at undergraduate level.

Recommendation    

• A record of scholarly publications in accredited subject journals;
• Industry experience in a financial management environment;
• Lecturing experience in financial management modules at undergraduate level.
