Lecturer Position : Community Health Studies: Ref B102 at Durban University of Technology

 Minimum Requirements

•  A Masters Degree in Environmental Health / Public Health/ Environmental Management
• Minimum of 3 years' lecturing experience in Higher Education
• Current and active registration with the Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA)
• Teaching and record of research publications in accredited journals would be a strong recommendation
• Preference will be given to applicants who are registered for a PhD

 Recommendations

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the Environmental / Public Health or Environmental Management field

 Duties

• Teach undergraduate courses in Environmental Health.
• Demonstrate leadership in teaching, research and community service.
• Take an active part in the supervision and assessment of undergraduate students' research projects
• Supervise post-graduate students
• Contribute to research by publishing articles and book chapters
• Serve in committees within the University and external professional organisations
• Engage in community engagement and outreach.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department
