All academics are responsible for disseminating knowledge (teaching and learning), creating knowledge (research) and community engagement, recognising that there are differences in the execution of these responsibilities within the various departments and Faculties.
Academics are also expected to assume administrative, management, and/or leadership duties at the departmental, faculty, and/or university levels.
The Requirements
A Master’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent. Membership of a professional board (e.g., IIBA, IITPSA, etc.) would be an advantage.
Tutoring or facilitation experience required. Some teaching experience would be an advantage.
Ability to teach in the following disciplinary areas: Project Management and System Analysis.
The ability to teach databases, data analytics, digital transformation, accounting information systems security and control, and IT ethics will be an advantage.
Some research supervision or research outputs would be an advantage.
Some administrative experience, albeit in informal contexts. (e.g., student or sports clubs, work experiences)
