    Mathematics Teacher

    Description    

    • Rustenburg Girls’ High School is looking to replace an experienced Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy teacher.  This full time SGB educator post is available from 1 January 2025. 

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • The successful applicant will teach Mathematics from Grade 8 to Grade 12 and Mathematical Literacy as required. 
    • The successful applicant will be expected to play a full role in the extra-mural life of the school, including as a Tutor in the Vertical Tutor System.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Knowledge and experience in teaching the CAPs curriculum in the FET phase is essential (minimum five years preferred).
    • Experience of teaching at Grade 12 level is essential (minimum three years preferred).
    • Experience as an NSC Marker would be an advantage.
    • Must be computer literate and competent in the use of technology for teaching and learning.
