Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• A Master’s degree in Technology Education.
• A relevant teaching qualification.
• Technology or an equivalent subject as a major subject at undergraduate level, which includes woodwork, mechanics and the engineering design process.
• Two (2) years' relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five (5) years’ relevant teaching experience at school level
• Fluent in Afrikaans (Please note that the position is based at the Wellington Campus where tuition is in Afrikaans. Candidates must be able to teach in Afrikaans).

• A relevant doctoral degree
• Evidence of research outputs and supervision

• Fluency in English and Afrikaans (BEd tuition in Wellington is through Afrikaans)
• Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department
