Lecturer: Tourism (JB3876) at Educor Holdings

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE: 

The primary purpose of this position is to fulfill lecturing responsibilities along with associated tasks such as preparation, assessment, moderation, and curriculum development within the field of Nated Tourism.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification in Tourism.
• Specialization in one or more of the following: Travel Office Procedure N6, Hotel Reception N6, Tourist Destination N5, Business Management 1 B.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching/lecturing experience.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct lectures in Nated Tourism, specializing in specific areas such as Travel Office Procedure N6, Hotel Reception N6, Tourist Destination N5, and Business Management 1 B.
• Perform administrative tasks related to courses and attend departmental meetings as required by the management team.
• Stay informed and maintain a practical understanding of service standards and quality improvement initiatives relevant to the department.
• Engage in personal and professional development to meet industry standards.
• Research and develop new topics, courses, and teaching materials, including online resources.
• Participate in Examination Certification and Promotion of learners.
• Conduct face-to-face lectures and contact sessions with students, as well as distance learning sessions.
