Legal Advisor at AES Africa

Role Purpose

We are currently supporting a JSE listed Financial Services group who seek to employ a Legal Advisor to join their team in Centurion. As a Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing conflict and resolving disputes in partnership with divisions and externally. The position will also be responsible for Employee Relations and Labour Law matters within the group.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide Legal advice on all Labour and employee matters
• Drafting and negotiating of contracts, policies and procedures.
• Providing Legal assistance
• Negotiation and mediation of internal disputes
• Ensure compliance to all relevant laws and regulations
• Representation at the CCMA and Labour court
• Compilation of contracts including settlement agreements, retrenchment agreements and addendums to existing contracts
• Responsible for external dispute resolution

Requirements:

• LLB or BCom Law degree
• 5-7 years experience
• Labour Law litigation and Arbitration experience - non negotiable
• Driver's license and own vehicle
• Must have Labour Court & CCMA experience
