Legal Advisor: Core Departmental Advisory Services at Mogale City Local Municipality

REQUIREMENTS:

• A relevant 4-year tertiary qualification, preferably a bachelor's degree in law (LLB) and Computer literacy: MS Office and possession of valid driver's license.
• 2- 5 years relevant legal experience required. Admission as an Advocate or Attorney is an added advantage.
• ATTRIBUTES: Written Communication/ Drafting. Oral Communication. Advocacy/ Negotiation. Ethics and Professionalism. Organizational Awareness.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Advising the Departments on regulatory matters and all related applicable laws, litigations, labour matters, contracts and legislative drafting. Support on the Provision of legislative advisory services.
• Contract and tender documents management. Compliance: Legal, regulatory and statutory framework and rocesses.
