JOB DESCRIPTION

• To provide general intellectual property (IP) legal solutions to meet business requirements, and engage in legal risk management and mitigation in relation to IP related matters.

Minimum Qualifications

Type of Qualification: Post Graduate Degree

Field of Study: Legal

• Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: Post Graduate Degree - LLB; Admitted attorney; Relevant professional membership, Group 1 and 2 Trade Mark Practitioner Exams/qualification advantageous

Experience Required

Legal

5-7 years

• Proven experience in the provision of legal advice, drafting, vetting, review, dissemination and/or negotiation, with at least 5 years' experience in an IP specialist role, either in practice or in-house. Identification and mitigation of legal risk. At least 3 years' people management experience (not necessarily direct reports), where applicable.
