Legal Advisor at Salt South Africa

• We are seeking a commercially astute Legal Advisor to join a dynamic and complex business. This role will be responsible for ensuring strong legal risk management, compliance, and providing practical legal support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements including leases, service and commercial contracts
• Ensure legal compliance and effective risk management across the business
• Manage dispute resolution processes and liaise with external legal counsel
• Provide clear, practical legal advice to internal stakeholders
• Conduct legal research and interpret legislation impacting the business
• Build strong relationships across business units and external partners

Requirements

• LLB Degree
• Admitted Attorney
• Minimum 5 years relevant corporate experience
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
