FEM is looking to appoint a Legal and Compliance Analyst to assist the Legal and Compliance Manager with assessing compliance with applicable regulatory requirements within the business, monitoring, training, contract drafting and reviews, legal advice as part of embedding the Compliance Framework. Furthermore, the successful incumbent will provide efficient compliance and legal support to the Head of departments and to enable them to perform their responsibilities relating to the compliance risk management process.
The position requires an incumbent that has compliance and legal experience in monitoring and implementing compliance monitoring plans as well as conducting compliance audits of the organisation based on applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of compliance within the insurance sector and in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to FEM is a distinct advantage.
The minimum requirements of the position are an LLB degree with a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ Legal and Compliance experience and must be an admitted attorney with active registration with the Compliance Institute. Excellent analytical skills, the ability to work in a highly pressurised environment, quality orientation, reliability and excellent communication complete our requirements.
