    Linux Platform Engineer

    Areas of responsibility will include

    • min 6 years with a successful track record in Linux server administration.
    • Solid virtualization and cloud infrastructure experience (Openstack, Docker, Proxmox, Ceph).
    • Passionate about at least one automation tool (e.g. Puppet, Ansible, Salt, Terraform).
    • Experience with previously contributing to an open source project would be preferred

     

    Education Required

    • Grade 12
    • Bachelors degree (ideally in Computer Science or similar)
    • RHCE or higher preferred

     

    Personal Attributes and Skills 

    • Able to communicate and present complex issues with preciseness, assurance and confidence ·
    • Passion for technology and a high technical aptitude ·
    • Self-sufficient, high integrity.
    • Ability to translate verbal requirements into written documentation
