Logistics Administrator at Bidvest Tank Terminals

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• 3 years’ customer service experience
• 2 years Admin/ Data Capturing experience
• Experience in the chemical/Petro-chemical industry would be advantageous.
• Experience in Bulk Liquid Storage Facility/Terminal Operations would be advantageous.
• Practical knowledge of SAP, EDI system, FuelFacs+ and vehicle booking system.
• Strong Computer Skills

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that all transfer, rail and road orders from various customers are accurately received and created on BTT SAP system.
• Receive dip certificates from Logistics Controllers and file accordingly.
• Update the Logistics dashboards monthly and submit to Logistics Manager.
• File all Logistics filing received from shift Controllers accordingly.
• Gather information for reporting requirements.
• Maintain a good relationship with all customers.
• Assist Supervisors and Manager with customer complaint investigation.
• Ensure Customers are trained on the orders creation portal when required.
• Facilitate Logistics daily meeting on ad hoc basis or when required.
• Ensure weekly posting and accurate accounting of all slop drums.
• Perform all general administrative duties within Logistics department.
• Assist with RBI-dip capturing if required
