THE JOB AT A GLANCE

Responsible for managing a multi category (±275 SKU’s) logistics function for a regional Logistics Distribution Centers and delivering superior internal and external customer service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain and adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
2. Financial month end reports – intransit, value report, accuracy analysis
3. Stock counts preparation and capturing
4. Run and analyse Oracle reports – order management, sales order status, not routed.
5. Reconciliation and recordkeeping of monthly expenses – stock, transport, outsourced services and pallets
6. Expenses and purchase order management
7. Pallet control
8. POD Control
9. Internal Requisitions – generate
10. Internal Orders
11. Ensure document control in line with for BRC standards, SHE & HACCP
12. Review daily stock cover
13. Track order input and delivery days
14. Follow up on out of stocks and customer order fills

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Key Professional Competencies

1. Core knowledge – Logistics, Proteus, Micro strategy, Microsoft Outlook, Excel Advanced, BRC

1. Academic – Matric / equivalent with Diploma in Logistics management, analytical skill, Problem solving, Decision making,
2. Leadership – Leading with Integrity and respect, thinking innovation, Taking the Tiger perspective, Staying a Step-Ahead
3. Personal Effectiveness – Effective communication, Interpersonal skills, Integrity, Continuous learning, ability to implement change processes and strategies

Experience

1. Function –> 3 years experience with operational exposure
2. Industry – FMCG logistics experience
