Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for managing the Timber booking system for the Richards Bay Chipping Mill (RBCM) timber deliveries
• Managing all road deliveries into RBCM with the assistance of the Timber Marketing Team
• Coordinate rail deliveries between customers and mill management
• Handle any queries regarding deliveries
• Liaise with transporters, Transnet and Timber Marketers
• Manage costs

Qualifications and Skills:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant degree (advantageous)
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of logistics
• Experience in the Timber Industry (advantageous)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills
• Computer literate
• Strong attention to detail
