Job Purpose

Reporting into the Customer Services Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for processing customer orders and executing deliveries as per the customer’s request. This person will also ensure that continuous service is delivered by achieving the sales forecast, maintaining correct stock levels and processing complaints.

Education

Minimum NQF level 6 qualification or studying towards a relevant discipline

Job Experience

• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a customer services role within a manufacturing environment, handling both pre-sales and after-sales interactions with customers
• Logistics experience (road transport, warehouse and shipping processes) is an advantage
• Experience with SAP is essential (Sales and Distribution module)

Functional Outputs

• Responsible for managing the customers’ Order book :
• Processing orders within lead time to achieve the Sales volume
• Pricing verification
• Invoicing to be aligned with the Revenue Recognition policy
• Handling customer queries and complaints effectively, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and following up to ensure resolution
• Effective allocation of orders to available inventory to achieve working capital targets
• Planning and following up on deliveries
• Communicating priorities, urgencies, risks and coordinating with relevant internal departments
• Provides business continuity back up within the broader customer services team
