Logistics Manager - Centurion at Ampath

Requirements:

• Management Diploma  (Required),
• National Diploma in Medical Technology  (Required)

Required Experience:

• 5 years of management in a Pathology environment.,
• Knowledge: Meditech system,
• Knowledge and understanding of people management practices (including training, motivating, and directing employees) to optimise workplace productivity and promote professional growth.,
• Knowledge of employment legislation (BCEA, EEA, LRA, etc).,
• Knowledge of financial and business management,
• Knowledge of MS Office, Knowledge of OSH Act.,
• Knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines regarding the transportation of medical specimens.,
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities,
• Solid understanding of logistics management software, Thorough knowledge of Ampath and its products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing data to monitor performance and plan improvements in logistics operations,
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the optimal use of logistics,
• Continuously seeking ways to improve and optimise logistics processes for cost savings and efficiency gains.,
• Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimise the flow of goods and materials.,
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements related to logistics and transportation.,
• Managing and coordinating the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.,
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers and customers to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.,
• Resolving any arising problems or complaints related to logistics processes., Selecting, managing, and maintaining relationships with transportation providers to ensure the swift and safe delivery of goods.
