Enaex Africa is a world-class blasting services company delivering premium solutions to the most important mining regions across africa. The purpose of this position is to oversee multiple operational sites across Mpumalanga, including Secunda, Isibonelo, Burgersfort and Winterveld.
Requirements
Manage the implementation of the logistics strategy by ensuring optimal stock placement, balancing supply for both local and export markets, monitoring adherence to logistics plans, and driving performance in line with value chain objectives and cost-reduction targets.
Oversee logistics operations across product portfolios by managing transport activities, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and maintaining SHE standards and SQAS (Safety & Quality Assessment for Sustainability) accreditation for the Enaex-owned explosives fleet.
Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by implementing support systems, conducting and updating site-specific risk assessments, and introducing appropriate mitigation measures to manage operational risks.
Enhance logistics effectiveness by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, benchmarking practices against industry standards, aligning operations with best practices, and leveraging Enaex's capabilities to meet customer needs.
Drive budget compliance and operational goal achievement by analysing logistics performance, identifying and evaluating improvement opportunities, determining financial implications, and adjusting budgets and plans as necessary.
Provide monthly performance tracking and improvement reports by collecting key operational metrics, maintaining accurate documentation and safety records, and presenting actionable insights and solutions in the required reporting formats.
Minimum Requirements
Matric/Grade or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in logistics or supply chain management.
7+ years in operational logistics / supply chain or similar.
