Logistics Safety Manager at MPRTC Recruitment

• We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Safety Manager to oversee health, safety, and compliance across a fast‑paced transportation environment. This role requires a strong background in safety management, with the ability to implement and enforce policies across multiple sites.

Minimum Education & Qualifications & Experience

• National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management or any equivalent NQF Level 5+ qualifications
• 2 – 5 years of practical health and safety experience, preferably in fast passed transportation environment, across multiple sites
• Experience in developing, implementing and ensuring compliance with Policies and Procedures
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to work away from home when required
• Specialised Industry Knowledge
• HIRA – Expertise in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments, safety inspections, audits and incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Fleet Safety – Understanding transportation regulations, fatigue management. Experience with Road Transport Management System (RTMS) compliance advantageous
• Legislative Compliance - Strong ability to achieve and substance legislative compliance, in-depth knowledge of local occupational health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
