Datacentrix KZN is looking for a Logistics Supervisor with 3+ years experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, dispatch, and inventory control. Must have experience in stock management, returns handling, delivery scheduling, vehicle coordination, document control, and warehouse security, with a strong focus on compliance with safety regulations and the OHS Act.
Full time onsite at our KZN -Westville offices
Requirements:
Matric \ Grade 12 (Compulsory)
Supply Chain Management Qualification will be advantageous
Valid Driver License & Own reliable vehicle
2-3 years’ experience as Logistics
Reading, writing and communication (English)
MS Office Proficiency
Sage X3 experience will be advantageous
Demonstrable time management skills, good people management, leadership and organisational skills
Experience in driving a continual improvement
Daily communications with senior management
Ability to resolve queries
Resposibilities:
Coordinate daily warehouse activities (receiving, picking, packing and dispatch)
Ensure correct stock receiving and binning of goods
Coordinate returns, damaged goods and discrepancies
Stock management of the inventory system and the physical inventory within the KZN warehouse
Stock management inclusive of stock control, verification and preservation of product
Control of all security systems and risk management of the facility and stock
Plan and schedule driver deliveries. Manage and maintain company delivery vehicles
Document control
Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety regulations
Ensure compliance to the OHS Act and Policy by understanding individual responsibility. Promote awareness amongst co-workers and add value through reporting of incident/hazards or suggestions for continuous improvement
