Job Description
Hiring for a Machine Lead with extensive experience on a Tissue Machine
This is a 6 month contract position
Your Job
Leading a team of operators on a machine that produces top notch products for ¼ of the population is a hard job, but it’s worth it when you’re recognized often by your manager, supported by your team, and see the products you produce being used by your own friends and family at the end of the day.
About You
You will be responsible for operating the tissue machines on a shift basis and be the advanced papermaker on shift. You'll be required to lead your team with respect to operating various tissue making equipment.
On the job troubleshooting and structured parameter monitoring is required with corrective action implementation on shift.
The qualifications and skills required to perform at optimal level is listed below:
N3/Matric/equivalent qualification
S4 diploma in Pulp & Paper Technology would be an advantage
5 years’ experience on high speed manufacturing equipment
2 years’ experience on tissue manufacturing equipment
Operate DCS systems
