Maintenance Assistant - Malmesbury Mill
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Matric , National Certificate
- Experience 2 - 3 years
- Location Western Cape
- Job Field Engineering / Technical
Responsibilities
- Participate in development of a maintenance plan and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct routine inspections in accordance with maintenance plan/schedule and maintenance task lists.
- Report on routine inspection findings on maintenance schedules and prioritise follow up work.
- Identify equipment requiring maintenance during walkabouts and operator interactions.
- Conduct Unscheduled Repairs of Mechanical Plant Equipment.
- Ensure 95% availability of equipment through planned maintenance.
- Conduct scheduled, planned maintenance of Equipment.
- Roll maintenance and fluting training will be provided.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment
- Electrical Technical Trade (N3) (Must be able to obtain one within 1 year of appointment)
- Shift work / Standby
- Sound understanding and application of OSHA regulations
- Own vehicle and drivers licence (preferable)
