    Maintenance Assistant - QPro Feeds, Vrede

    Requirements

    • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Basic understanding of tools and mechanical concepts.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist Millwrights with daily maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical machinery.
    • Support breakdown repairs by preparing tools, parts and materials.
    • Help carry out basic mechanical and electrical work under supervision.
    • Clean and organise the workshop and tools.
    • Learn how to interpret technical drawings and safety procedures.
    • Take accurate measurement and record data as needed.
    • Support in executing planned preventative maintenance tasks.
    • Assist with modifications to improve reliability of plant.
    • Electrical Maintenance: Fault Finding - Cables and Conductors
