Maintenance Electrician at Rohloff Group

Purpose of the Role

• As an Electrician in our team, you will be required to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair: electrical control, wiring, lighting systems, specialised catering equipment, generators, and inverters.

Key performance areas

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, fixtures, and DB boards.
• Troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for electrical reticulation.
• Perform inspections of electrical systems to ensure quality control, adherence to all relevant codes, and to identify and replace any worn or damaged parts.
• Maintenance type repairs and installations.
• Attend to breakdowns and callouts.
• Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on inverters and generators

Qualification

• Red seal trade certificate
• 3-phase Wireman’s License is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience post qualification
• Experience in a similar environment/industry is advantageous.

• Read and understand electrical control circuits and diagrams.
• Ability to working under pressure.
• Fault finding.
• Ability to meet the attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal competence on a technical level.
• Excellent troubleshooting and time-management skills.
• Basic computer and smartphone competency

Knowledge

• Knowledge of 3- phase Electrical circuits
• In-depth knowledge of service, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems, as well as construction and hospitality industry safety standards and procedures.
