    Maintenance Engineer Motors

    Purpose of the Job:

    To lead and provide day to day leadership in reliability engineering activities; develop and manage a program to identify asset reliability risks and manage asset failure prevention. Managing parts and SLA contractors.

    Key responsibilities include the following:

    • Manage SLA contractors to ensure the best preventative maintenance outcome.
    • Coordinate the execution of planned preventative maintenance program.
    • Analyzing and identifying potential causes of equipment failure to prevent future problems.
    • Review current maintenance policies and procedures to optimize maintenance program effectiveness.
    • Create, optimize, and validate asset PM’s and PM frequencies.
    • Conduct equipment and spares criticality analysis
    • Leads and coaches’ teams in analyzing equipment failures and identifying patterns and trends.
    • Conducts failure analysis on critical equipment to prevent reoccurrence and improve reliability.
    • Developing and implementing new maintenance procedures and instructions.
    • Finding new technologies and processes that can improve equipment performance and reliability.
    • Developing and implementing training programs for employees.
    • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that reliability is integrated into all aspects of the organization.

    Requirements:

    • N. Diploma or B. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
    • At least 3 years in asset management and reliability 
    • Strong knowledge of Reliability, Availability and Maintainability Studies
    • Good knowledge of labour relations act
    • Knowledge of array of root cause analysis tools
    • Knowledge of ERP Systems
    • Team management skills.
