Maintenance & Engineering Manager at Novus Holdings Ltd

Introduction

With a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, we are looking to strengthen our leadership team. We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead plant reliability and engineering performance within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, stable operations across multiple production lines, equipment, and supporting utilities, while driving continuous improvement in plant performance.

Job description

• Lead and manage all maintenance and engineering activities across the plant
• Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programmes
• Improve plant reliability and reduce downtime
• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and process failures
• Ensure performance of production equipment and utilities systems
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues through hands-on, on-site engagement
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and spare parts control
• Oversee cooling systems, compressed air, and electrical infrastructure
• Deliver engineering improvements and plant optimisation projects
• Ensure compliance with OHSA and GMR 2
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure alignment on operational goals
• Lead and develop maintenance teams

Minimum requirements

• Engineering qualification (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial)
• GMR 2 certification (essential)
• 8–10 years manufacturing experience
• Experience in high-speed production environments
• Experience in packaging, extrusion, printing, or converting advantageous
