Maintenance Foreman - North West at Enaex Africa

Duties include; but are not limited to:

• Ensure SHE compliance
• Day to day maintenance personnel management
• Ensure adherence to Engineering principles and legislation
• Ensure compliance to work procedures
• Ensure Enaex equipment damages are reported, investigated
• Incident investigations (internally and with clients)
• Ensure explosives charging equipment safe operation according to internal specifications and procedures (Process Safety Management and Enaex Explosive pumps safety protocol)
• Coaching and mentoring of junior Artisans and maintenance Operators
• Liaise with mine planning department regarding vehicle service schedules and establishing Eneax equipment servicing schedule accordingly. Record keeping of all works orders
• Following up on services missed with internal and external clients
• Managing Enaex maintenance works area on Enaex site
• Ensure site maintenance spares stock levels are sufficient
• Control of area maintenance pool vehicles/ Service vans
• Review site and task specific WI and conduct PTO`s
• Develop and implement new WI where required
• Ensure training matrix for compulsory training in place per employee and adhered to
• Identify skills needs and gaps and arrange training accordingly
• Control of own operating budget and assist Operations with maintenance cost saving initiatives
• Reports: equipment availability, cost, PCSE (Process safety Critical Equipment), equipment services and performance etc
• Implementation of new projects
• Spares received QA/QC.
• Failure trend analysis and root cause elimination
• Support and utilization of the central SAP PM Maintenance system
• Be willing to work overtime and do standby

Requirements

Minimum Requirements and Experience:

• GR12/N3 with Maths and Science (Must)
• A valid Trade Test Certificate Millwright or Diesel Mechanic (Must)

OR

• Relevant Engineering Degree (B.Tech, B.Eng, B.Sc.Eng)
• 10-year artisan experience
• Experience in acting foreman

Experience in explosives manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
