A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in maintenance management and planning
A minimum of 1-year hands-on experience in maintenance or a related trade
Relevant qualification in maintenance planning, management, or in the mechanical or electrical field
Packhouse experience will be an advantage
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS
Scheduling and project management
Planning, managing, and controlling the maintenance budgets.
Manage a proactive preventative maintenance strategy.
Conduct frequent walkthroughs and regular inspections to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the facility and ensuring the proper working of all electrical units and mechanical systems in the facility.
Keep records of all day-to-day maintenance and service activities undertaken in the facility and place orders for spare parts and equipment for replacement and ascertaining the proper documentation of the same.
Plan and oversee all repairs and installation activities.
Managing and planning a digital maintenance system (CMMS).
