THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

• Manage implementation and execution of Plant Maintenance strategy, systems and processes that ensure SHEQ compliance, management and efficient use of utilities, maximum equipment reliability, technical skills competency, world class OEE’s and maximum return on invested capital.

Responsibilities

• Plant GMR 2.1 appointee
• Plant and Machinery Regulatory compliance
• Company policies and procedures compliance
• Plant maintenance management
• Plant efficient use of utilities
• Manage Engineering Stores
• Maintenance personnel management
• Engineering & Maintenance compliance audits met
• Compliance to maintenance SOP
• Full Utilisation of DMS (CMMS)
• Maintenance best practices implementation
• MECP Pillars Implementation & governance
• Develop and Implement Plant engineering improvement strategy
• Conformance to focus maintenance KPI’s
• Management of maintenance spend
• Development of maintenance budgets
• Lead engineering spares working capital reduction 
• Development of 5 Year Capex Plans
• Scope and Manage Site CAPEX Projects
• Support new product development CAPEX
• Development of Maintenance CI initiatives
• Motivate investment opportunities
• Ensure early equipment management for equipment readiness
• Ensure technical skills gaps analysis is completed
• Manage closure of identified skills gaps
• Ensure succession Plans are in place for engineering roles
• Ensure engineering staff retention Plans are in place
• Conduct one on ones with direct reports

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Academic – Bsc/BEng/BTech (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial). GCC Factories. 
• Experience-5 Years practical experience of maintenance systems. FMCG experience and 5 years leadership experience
