Maintenance Officer Silos - Clocolan at OVK - Group

Main purpose of the position:

• The maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment at the Silo’s.

Minimum Requirements:              

• Grade 12;
• Appropriate Trade qualification (RED Seal Trade Test);
• 4 years post apprenticeship experience;
• Valid drivers license.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and language proficiency in Afrikaans & English;
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety;
• Mechanisation skills;
• Physical ability to perform the work;
• Willingness to work long hours;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• The ability to function in a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities:

• Checking and repairing of Silo equipment;
• Scheduled preventative maintenance;
• Compliance to safety regulations;
• General administration.
