Assist with maintenance activities across operations and the plant by preparing equipment for inspections, completing allocated maintenance tasks, using tools responsibly, and providing timely feedback on work completed.
Complete assigned testing and inspections by interpreting technical drawings and specifications, following established procedures, finalising required documentation, and reporting any deviations or defects to the foreman within the set deadline.
Maintain good housekeeping standards by adhering to housekeeping procedures, inspecting workspaces, toolboxes, equipment, and maintenance storage areas for cleanliness, order, and safety, and addressing any issues before proceeding to the next task
Ensure compliance with organisational policies by maintaining up-to-date knowledge, participating in training sessions, and proactively sourcing answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis.
Ensure effective implementation of SHE by delivering comprehensive training, completing training programs, and addressing any identified gaps or non-compliance
Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating regular communication, exchanging feedback, and supporting collaboration.
Contribute to the team by actively participating in team events, identifying areas where support is needed, and providing the necessary assistance.
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent with English, Mathematics and Science
