Maintenance Planner - Mafikeng at Country Bird Holdings Ltd (CBH)

Job Advert Summary    

• Supreme Poultry, Mafikeng Processing Plant has a vacancy for suitably qualified Maintenance Planner within its Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will be expected to have 3 -5 years work experience in Poultry Abattoir or FMCG environment. 

Minimum Requirements    

• National Diploma in Engineering or a Trade Test in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years relevant experience in managing maintenance schedules, planning and budget
• Experience on both Pragma/DMS and Syspro systems will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Responsible for developing and managing the engineering maintenance schedules for the factory.
• Manage the parts inventory system.
• Capture daily breakdowns & rendering figures.
• Planning and stock control
• Budgeting and effective cost and expense control
• Work with maintenance group and vendors to ensure necessary parts are on hand while minimizing overall inventory value.
• Responsible for maintenance data capture (losses, cost, breakdown analysis, tag resolution.
• Compliance with all Safety, Housekeeping and Environmental procedures and policies of the Company
