    Maintenance Planner - Nestlé East London

    A day in the life of a Maintenance Planner:

    • M&I - Enable world class maintenance planning in Operations (including operators and technicians), providing assets' Maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy (using TPM as the multi-disciplinary approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle). Support and contribute to have a proper technical store management.
    • Budget Management - Support with data in building the maintenance budget (zero base), supported with the foreseen planned maintenance in each asset, in line with Guidelines.
    • Industrial Services - Ensure that the maintenance activities in industrial services are planned properly (including extraordinary activities and special charges)
    • Technical Stores - Support the technical stores management through a proper link between the planned maintenance activities and the required spare parts, in advance, to help the whole technical store optimization process.
    • Energy/Water/SHE Management - Ensure the planning of all maintenance activities are performed taken into account constrains on safety, food safety, energy/water consumption at factory level by analyzing the potential impact of any variable (e.g. high risk activities, spare part quality, materials, etc)

    What will make you successful?

    • Diploma/Degree/Btech in: Engineering or equivalent experience
    • 3 years’ experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Technician, Engineering Supervisor, maintenance Engineer, or other similar position)
    • Recommendation to have participated in a basic SHE and Food Safety training.
    • Participation in the coordination and planning of maintenance activities, taken into account SHE, food safety and other constrains in order to optimize the coordination of all maintenance activities (including, mechanical, electrical, electromechanics, instrumentation, industrial services, E&A, and operators basic maintenance activities).
    • Recommended to have had participation in the start-up or commissioning of technical equipment and/or production line(s).
