    Maintenance Planner - Nestlé East London

    A day in the life of a Maintenance Planner:

    • M&I - Enable world class maintenance planning in Operations (including operators and technicians), providing assets' Maintenance according to the Nestlé Strategy (using TPM as the multi-disciplinary approach to maintain/improve fixed assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle). Support and contribute to have a proper technical store management.
    • Budget Management - Support with data in building the maintenance budget (zero base), supported with the foreseen planned maintenance in each asset, in line with Guidelines.
    • Industrial Services - Ensure that the maintenance activities in industrial services are planned properly (including extraordinary activities and special charges)
    • Technical Stores - Support the technical stores management through a proper link between the planned maintenance activities and the required spare parts, in advance, to help the whole technical store optimization process.
    • Energy/Water/SHE Management - Ensure the planning of all maintenance activities are performed taken into account constrains on safety, food safety, energy/water consumption at factory level by analyzing the potential impact of any variable (e.g. high risk activities, spare part quality, materials, etc)

    What will make you successful?

    • Diploma/Degree/Btech in: Engineering or equivalent experience
    • 3 years’ experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry (as Technician, Engineering Supervisor, maintenance Engineer, or other similar position)
    • Recommendation to have participated in a basic SHE and Food Safety training.
    • Participation in the coordination and planning of maintenance activities, taken into account SHE, food safety and other constrains in order to optimize the coordination of all maintenance activities (including, mechanical, electrical, electromechanics, instrumentation, industrial services, E&A, and operators basic maintenance activities).
    • Recommended to have had participation in the start-up or commissioning of technical equipment and/or production line(s).

    Factory Controller - Mossel Bay

    A day in the life a Factory Controller:

    • Challenge assumptions in seeking cost improvements in factory. Seek for and support cost improvement opportunities, be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives, validate and review proposed savings.
    • Coordinate reporting of actuals (including organizing and overseeing timeliness and accuracy of period-end close and promoting ownership of data at source); and forecasts for the factory; ensure transparency of this process; follow up and monitoring of progress to close gaps, ensuring Nestle financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed.
    • Participate in business planning; prepare and coordinate the factory budget with factory management; Perform revisions or simulations if needed.
    • Develop, control and ensure robust evaluations of capital investment plans and requests.
    • Ensure clear control and visibility of assets and liabilities, including the development, implementation and compliance with internal controls.
    • Coach and develop the factory finance personnel as individuals and as a team, including career and succession planning.
    • Promote clear understanding of financial key figures and costing within the factory, including organizing training sessions for non-specialists.
    • Ensure full transparency of costs and financial impact to the organization of major or strategic decisions relating to the factory.
    • Organize internal and external benchmarking of factory performance and factory product costs.
    • Coordinate and be key contact for internal and external audits within the factory.

     What will make you successful?

    • Accounting degree / CIMA / CA(SA),
    • Prior experience in Costing / Factory Controlling / Financial management in a factory environment.
    • 5 years working experience in FMCG.
    • Experience within a network organization (internal and external providers)
    • Proficiency in English and language of the market (where applicable)

    Service and Scheduling Specialist - Longmeadow

    A day in the life of a Service and Scheduling Specialist:

    • Provide oversight to all physical movements within a transportation plan to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Execute Supply and Delivery strategies based on cost and service while ensuring carriers are assigned to move all planned loads on time.
    • Execute real-time analysis and decision making given exceptional situations associated with movement issues.
    • Facilitate visibility to stakeholders external to transportation group on load status and resolution action plans.
    • Implement market-based service strategies with respect to customer segmentation into daily problem-solving schemas.
    • Any other support roles determined by Line Manager

    What will make you successful?

    • Degree in Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
    • 2-5 years’ experience in at least Customer Service, Transport, Distribution, Demand and Supply Chain within FMCG or Manufacturing
    • SAP knowledge will be an advantage.
    • Microsoft Suite
    • Experience in Transportation Management, Distribution/ Materials Handling
    • Proactive Cooperation and Stakeholder Management
    • Understanding of the Business Environment (Internally and Externally)
    • Excellence communication and Team playing skills essential as well as Results Focus and Compliance mindset.
    • Demonstrated resilience to change.
