Job Advert Summary    

• The purpose of the position is to constantly look for new ways to improve the financial health of the company, using their in-depth understanding of finances, facts, and figures to optimize operations and deliver accurate and timeous management and financial reports.

Minimum Requirements    

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BCom Management Accounting)
• At least 3 years relevant experience
• Advanced Computer Literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams,
• Activity-based costing (ABC)
• Gross margin and contribution margin
• Asset management
• Accounting processes

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Production cost analysis
• Budget control
• Forecasting
• Assets and Capex
• Develop and implement stock control
• Oversee and manage the on site Factory shop
• Cost/expenses monitoring of all departments frequently
• Identifying cost saving initiatives
• Handle and solve finance related queries
• Identify and implement new procedures and internal controls
• Check petty cash
• Prepare month-end & year-end journals
• Assist with balance sheet monthly recons
• Preparing month-end financial and management reports
• Assist with monthly & yearly budgeting and forecasts
• Finding and including suitable cost drivers
• New projects/businesses, all above will apply
