Job Description

• Provide analytical, diagnostic, coordination and implementation support to Early-Stage Advisory Services Specialists and Senior Specialists in delivering management consulting interventions to IDC Business Partners.
• The role supports the full advisory delivery cycle through business analysis, intervention-planning inputs, implementation monitoring, and impact assessment to strengthen business capability, improve performance, mitigate risks and support sustainable growth.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting,Engineering, Information Systems, Organisational Development, Management or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in business analysis, data analytics, or monitoring and evaluation advantageous.
• 3 years Experience in business advisory, business analysis, or SME support
• Experience supporting business diagnostics, financial and operational analysis, and intervention recommendations.
• Exposure to due diligence, post-investment support, implementation planning or
  portfolio management advantageous.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Exposure to management consulting, SME development or development finance is essential

Roles and Responsibilities

Financial / Shareholder Returns

• Support interventions that improve sustainability, profitability, operational performance and growth.
• Analyse support requirements and identify key risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to business cases, intervention plans and benefits tracking.
• Monitor progress, expenditure, outcomes and evidence of impact.

Internal / Operational Processes

• Support advisory interventions through diagnosis, solution identification, implementation and outcome monitoring.
• Gather and analyse business partner information e.g. financial and operational, to prepare for business diagnosis.
• Participate in conducting business diagnosis, prepare diagnostic reports, TOR inputs, intervention plans, trackers and status reports.
• Support interventions across operations, finance, strategy, HR, marketing, leadership, technology and capability development.
• Track implementation plans and service-provider deliverables.
• Contribute to tools, templates, monitoring frameworks and knowledge repositories.

Customer Focus & Stakeholder Management

• Support engagement with business partners, internal stakeholders and service providers.
• Prepare credit submission inputs, dashboards and presentations.
• Communicate risks, opportunities, recommendations and progress clearly.
• Maintain professional, confidential and responsive stakeholder relationships.

• Develop expertise in diagnostics, advisory methodologies and business improvement interventions.
