    Management Trainee: Fleet

    Job Description    

    •  Executing daily tasks in line with the programme assigned.
    •  Managing various projects in line with programme requirements and timelines.
    •  Attend all relevant meetings and sessions within the Logistics function.
    •  Manage and monitor project requirements in line with the programme outcomes.
    •  Execution of tasks within the Fleet Management Services
    •  Manage the Supplier Management Framework to ensure the effectiveness of the overall framework

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Customer orientation:

    •  Be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Always acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.

    Problem Solving:

    •  Use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions; probes all fruitful sources for answers; looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at the first answers.

    Good Communication:

    •  The ability to express oneself clearly in conversations and interactions with others and tailors the content of speech to the level and experience of the audience.

    Teamwork:

    •  The ability to work well in teams comprising members of one’s own work unit or discipline. Including being flexible and can work with a wide variety of different people on different tasks.

    Organising:

    •  The ability to marshal resources (material, support) to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; this includes using resources effectively and efficiently arranges information and files in a useful manner.

    Decision Making:
     The ability to make good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment; most of his/her solutions and suggestions turn out to be correct and accurate when judged over time.
    Skills, Experience & Education    

    •  A minimum of a Transport/Logistics/Supply Chain degree
    •  3 years relevant working experience would be advantageous.
    •  Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
    •  SAP/MSD knowledge advantageous
    •  South African Citizen
    •  Valid driver’s licence
    •  Own vehicle
